Consumer Protection Awards
The Queensland Consumer Protection Awards is the Office of Fair Trading's way of recognising individuals, businesses, community organisations, industry associations and the media who have helped protect consumers.The Office of Fair Trading is undertaking a comprehensive review of the Consumer Protection Awards. The review will investigate effective and appropriate ways to acknowledge the important roles individuals, businesses, community organisations and the media play in creating a safe, fair and equitable Queensland marketplace.
As a result of the review the Consumer Protection Awards will not be run in 2008.
