Information for jurors
Juries are a key part of our legal system. They are made up of men and women from our community, randomly selected from the electoral rolls. If you are selected as a juror, your role will be to make the most important decision in any court case:
- in a criminal case, whether the accused person is guilty as charged
- in a civil case, who is at fault.
More information on performing jury service is available at the Queensland Courts website.
