Payment
We accept payment in the form of a credit card, money order or personal cheque. We cannot accept a personal cheque as payment for priority applications. Make all cheques and money orders payable to: Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages.
Payments are processed immediately upon receipt of your application, regardless of the completion timeframe.
Credit card payments
Credit card payments cannot be accepted over the telephone. To pay by credit card, complete the appropriate section on your application form, or if you are writing to us ensure you include the following paragraph:
I authorise you to deduct $(appropriate fee) from the below credit card.

Checklist
To avoid any delay in processing your application when paying by credit card, make sure you have included and checked all the following details:
- card type (Mastercard or Visa)
- full 16 digits of the card number
- expiry date (ensure the card is still current)
- name as it appears on the card
- card holders signature
