Review of neighbourly relations - trees and resolving neighbourhood disputes
Many things affect relations between neighbours. Dangerous and intrusive trees are one of the most common causes of neighbourhood conflict and complaints to government departments and councils.
The review will examine:
- the current law
- processes
- ways to resolve disputes.
We welcome your participation in the review and invite you to provide your input to the Department of Justice and Attorney-General by 31 October 2008.
Due to the level of interest shown in the review, the department has extended the closing date for input from Friday 12 September 2008 until Friday 31 October 2008.
