The Public Trust Office is a state government agency that can provide you with financial, trustee, legal, property and associated services including:- managed fund investments
- property and motor vehicle auctions
- the administration of deceased estates
- probate
- wills preparation
- enduring powers of attorney preparation
- establishment and management of trusts
- safe custody of important documents
- personal financial management
- assistance in legal proceedings by or against a disadvantaged person.
The head of the office is the Public Trustee. The role was established in 1915 and was then known as the Public Curator.
