Finding a Justice of the Peace

Justices of the Peace volunteer their services to help members of the community, particularly to witness documents such as statutory declarations, affadavits and land title documents.

Sometimes it is difficult to know where to find a JP in your area.

The JPs in the Community program situates JPs in places you often visit, such as shopping centres, so you can access their services during business hours.

Our finding a JP database lists JPs in your area who have agreed to list their names and contact details on our website so you can access their services after hours.
