Training courses

The Justices of the Peace Branch offers training courses to become a Justice of the Peace (Qualified) and Commissioner for Declarations.

Justice of the Peace (Qualified) training is a three-day course. The cost per participant is $320 (including GST).

The Commissioner for Declarations training is one-day course. The costs per participant is $200 (including GST).

The cost of both courses includes learning materials, daily refreshments, lunch and sitting the exam. To register, complete the registration form for Justice of the Peace (Qualified) courses or Commissioner for Declarations courses.

The disqualification provisions is a summary of restriction which may prevent and individual from applying or holding the office as a Justice of the Peace (Qualified).
