Justices of the Peace (JP) Branch is hosting a series of free professional development workshops at its new office in South Brisbane. Only registered JPs and C.decs can attend these workshops.
The workshop series will commence on 11 September 2009 and run on an ongoing basis. Workshops will provide JPs and C.decs with an opportunity to refresh their knowledge and advance their skills. Currently 351 people have enrolled in the JP Workshops.
There are five workshops in the series:
- general witnessing procedures
- witnessing land title documents
- witnessing general powers of attorney (GPAs), enduring powers of attorney (EPAs) and advanced health directives (AHDs)
- witnessing search warrants
- witnessing justice examination orders (JEOs)
Bookings are essential as places are limited to 30 people per session. To book, please contact JP Branch by email or phone 1300 301 147. Clearly state your name, contact phone number and the name and date of the workshop you wish to attend.
Workshop dates
All workshops will start at 10:00am and finish at 1:00pm. They will be held in the JP Branch Training Room on Level 6, 154 Melbourne Street, South Brisbane.
