This course in mediation skills and conflict management is based on our Dispute Resolution Branch’s mediator training program and teaches participants how to:

• plan and set up a simple mediation session
• manage the various stages of the process competently.

The course provides an excellent conceptual framework and general skills for people engaged in simple disputes. You will be able to integrate skills gained in the course into current or proposed areas of work or interest. Read more

• the historical context of this type of mediation process
• issues that need to be considered for effective practice.
