Applications now open for funding of up to $100 000 for victims of crime services

Victim Assist Queensland invites non-government, not-for-profit organisations to apply for up to $100 000 (GST exclusive) of funding.

The one off payment is available to not-for-profit organisations’ existing funding, to complete projects which improve support for victims of crime within their organisation or across the broader community.

The Building Capacity for Victims of Crime Services Funding can be granted to one or more organisations to a total of $100 000.

The eligible applicants must be an incorporated non-government, not-for-profit organisation or local government; and have a focus on delivering services for victims of crime in Queensland.

Submissions for the 2012-13 funding round opened on 15 February 2012 and close on 30 March 2012.

An information session will be held for interested persons and organisations prior to the close of submissions.

For further information on the Building Capacity for Victims of Crime Services Funding and the information session see Building Capacity for Victims of Crime Services Funding Program 2012–13.
