New Hughenden seminars announced

If you live in the Hughenden area, come to one of the free Electrical Safety Risk Management Codes of Practice seminars on 27 and 28 April 2010.

The two new seminars will be held at the Diggers Entertainment Centre 34 Gray Street, Hughenden from 6-8pm on 27 April and from 8:30-10:30am on 28 April. No registration is required, but make sure you arrive early to secure your seat.

The seminars cover the new Risk Management Code of Practice which came into effect on 1 January 2010 as well as related changes reflected in four recently revised electrical safety codes of practice

Seminars are being held in 42 locations throughout Queensland from mid-March to early June 2010 – check for a seminar in your area at the website

The seminars are an opportunity for all those associated with the electrical industry to recognise the risks and identify the solutions for working around electrical equipment and live electrical parts. Electrical safety inspectors will run these seminars and will introduce you to the updated risk management requirements
