Check the Multiple earth neutral (MEN) connection
In Queensland, the majority of electrical installations employ the multiple earth neutral system of earthing (MEN). The effectiveness of this earthing system relies heavily on the integrity of the MEN connection.
The Electrical Safety Office has developed a new fact sheet as a reminder to all electrical workers of the importance of the connection and the importance of ensuring this connection is re-established if removed for the performance of electrical work or for testing of the electrical installation.
