Getting involved in systems advocacy

Key stakeholders

Our work involves engaging with government policy makers and other stakeholders to improve outcomes for people with impaired decision-making capacity.

National forum

Queensland also participates in the Australian Guardianship and Administration Council (AGAC) which is a national forum for State and Territory agencies to promote the interests of people with impaired decision-making capacity.

Your involvement

Feedback is welcomed from any party with information which may assist our systems advocacy work.

You can also comment on each of our publications by completing the publications survey. The survey should only take around five minutes and your participation is anonymous.

There are a range of ways you can contact our office. All information received is treated sensitively. Personal details are not disclosed without consent unless required by law.

The information we receive is recorded to assist us in monitoring and identifying issues which may potentially be responded to through systems advocacy.

We will attempt to resolve any complaints about our services, policies, procedures or the conduct of our staff locally and informally. If the matter cannot be resolved in this way, we will follow the formal complaints policy issued by the Department of Justice and Attorney-General.
