There are a number of private Justices Associations that exist across Queensland to provide optional support peer networks amongst JPs and C.decs. The Department of Justice and Attorney-General supports membership of these associations and works in close partnership with them to provide an ongoing support network to all members.
Membership to private associations is optional. You are encouraged to contact the associations directly should you wish to become a member. Your decision to join an association does not affect your role or the services you perform.
Please remember that the official registration number you receive from Justices of the Peace Branch is different and separate to the membership number you receive if you join a private association.
