Enforcement orders

If your unpaid infringement notice is lodged with SPER, a registration fee of $55.00 will be added and an Enforcement Order. No registration fee is added to court orders sent to SPER. An Enforcement Order will be sent to your last known address.

If you have received an Enforcement Order from SPER you can no longer choose from the options given to you on your infringement notice.

Your Enforcement Order will give you a due date to choose from the available options including:

  • pay in full.
  • apply to pay by instalments (including Direct Debit and Centrepay options).
  • elect to go to Court (Infringement Notice only).

If you are unable to pay by instalments of any amount, you may request a financial assessment to determine if you are eligible for a fine option order converting your fine to unpaid community service.

If you do not choose an option within the time allowed, SPER may add an enforcement fee of $92.00 to each fine.
