Registration fees

If you receive an infringement notice but fail to take action within 28 days the infringement notice may be registered for enforcement by the State Penalties Enforcement Registry (SPER).

When your infringement notice is lodged with SPER a registration fee of $55 is added to your outstanding fine. Once your infringement notice has been registered, SPER will issue an Enforcement Order for the outstanding amount of your fine, plus any vehicle search fees and the registration fee.
