Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia Queensland Section (RFDS) provides aeromedical and primary health care services in rural and remote locations. The Royal Flying Doctor Service is the major fixed-wing aeromedical service in Queensland.
The Royal Flying Doctor Service is a not for profit organisation delivering a variety of health services free of charge to those living, working or travelling throughout rural, remote and coastal Queensland.
RFDS’s primary services include:
- general medical practice
- counselling
- child and maternal health services
- other allied health services.
