Understanding Pathways to Safety: Domestic and Family Violence Forum Brisbane
Thursday 19 May 2022 8.30 am
Women's Health and Equality Queensland
The one-day event is aimed at: 1) Building the capacity of community groups, volunteers and staff in the human services sector in Brisbane to respond to and prevent domestic and family violence (DFV); 2) Providing clear education on how and where to refer victim-survivors of DFV; 3) Creating important points of connection within the community, to prevent, recognise, respond and refer individuals and families experiencing DFV. The Forum will provide significant and much-needed benefit to participants who work or volunteer in community organisations, groups, clubs and associations across Brisbane, who currently lack knowledge of how to support clients experiencing DFV.
