The events promoted in the Women's Safety and Violence Prevention community events calendar send a clear message that gendered violence will not be tolerated, and that our community will strive for promotion and protection of women’s rights, interests and wellbeing all year round.
Community groups are encouraged to register an event to be considered for inclusion in the calendar.
Night of Remembrance and Candlelight Ceremony

The Greater Springfield and surrounds Night of Remembrance and Candlelight Ceremony will bring the community together to remember those who have lost their lives to domestic and family violence (DFV) and to say NO to DFV in our local community. The event has been co-organised by Charis Mullen MP, State Member for Jordan and the Domestic Violence Action Centre (DVAC).
