The events promoted in the Women's Safety and Violence Prevention community events calendar send a clear message that gendered violence will not be tolerated, and that our community will strive for promotion and protection of women’s rights, interests and wellbeing all year round.
Community groups are encouraged to register an event to be considered for inclusion in the calendar.

We will gather together to mourn the many women and children who have been killed by someone who professed to love them. We will also gather together to acknowledge the strength and resilience of survivors of gendered violence. Some of us might be survivors and most of us will know someone we love who is a survivor of gendered violence. We call for equality, justice and safety for all women and children
