The events promoted in the Women's Safety and Violence Prevention community events calendar send a clear message that gendered violence will not be tolerated, and that our community will strive for promotion and protection of women’s rights, interests and wellbeing all year round.
Community groups are encouraged to register an event to be considered for inclusion in the calendar.
International Day of Families

Dysart Community Support Group Inc are teaming up with the Dysart Arts Markets to provide a day for the family that reflects on respectful relationships. With market stalls, live music, face painting for the kids and a range of fun activities this event will have something for everyone. Grab bags will be handed out to parents with a range of goodies, family games and resources to raise awareness of domestic and family violence as well as information on local and state services that support families and relationships.
