Gladstone West State School

Gladstone West State School held a free dress day on Tuesday 24th May 2016, and the whole school dressed in purple to show their support for the Gladstone Coordinated Community Response to Domestic and Family Violence (CCRDFV) campaign to 'Paint the Town Purple Against DF&V' during the 'Not Now Not Ever' campaign.

The Principal Mrs Burrell gathered 600 plus students and staff to the oval for a photo opportunity and the whole group then chanted "Not Now Not Ever!" which echoed across the oval.

CCRDFV were proud to be invited to this event and very happy to see these issues being talked about with this age group.

Together, we can make a difference!
