Balonne Shire
The Balonne Shire Family and Domestic Violence Prevention Panel created a month of awareness raising activities in our community. These activities included a Walkabout, a rugby league game with a shield presentation, a children's disco and an online survey to gauge community awareness, with 50% reporting they have been a victim of domestic violence. We used colour and promotional material to raise awareness and prevention of Family and Domestic violence in our community.
