Bwgcolman Family Afternoon
Community members and families gathered at the family-friendly event to enjoy a local band, food and activities for children. Various resources were provided, including contact cards with local supports for those impacted by domestic and family violence, as well as t-shirts with clear anti-violence messages. The event provided a greater exposure of the Palm Island DV Network made up of local service providers who facilitated the event. The DV Networkmembers were encouraged by the success of the event and have expressed their desire to undertake further events.
