The Centre for Women & Co. take up the Not Now, Not Ever challenge
As part of Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month (May 2019), The Centre for Women & Co. took up the Not Now, Not Ever challenge by participating in several events including:
- Candle Lighting Vigil - Cleveland
- 'Not Now, Not Ever' Breakfast Boot Camp - Yarrabilba
- Candle Lighting Ceremony - Jimboomba
The beautiful candle lighting events provided a space for people to remember those who have died because of Domestic and Family Violence, as well as further highlight the issue to the community.
The 'Not Now, Not Ever' Breakfast Boot Camp was held in Yarrabilba in partner with Lendlease. This event contributed to raising community awareness of Domestic and Family Violence, both through the campaign marketing material as well as the event's content.
The event also provided the community with the opportunity to show their support for people affected by DFV through signing the pledge boards.
