Voices of Gold Coast Young People
Since 2011, more than 5000 Gold Coast high school students have completed the Love Bites Healthy Relationships program. As part of the program, the students develop an artwork or a hip hop song to capture what they have learnt about relationships. The Voices of Young People takes the artworks and songs produced by the students out into the community to raise awareness about domestic and family violence prevention. During Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month, the CD of hip hop songs was launched and the student artworks were sold at auction.
