Taskforce Chair travels to North Queensland

In early September 2014, Ms Bryce, as Chair of the Domestic and Family Violence Taskforce travelled to different communities across northern Queensland to meet with those who work with people affected by domestic and family violence. The purpose of this trip was to listen and learn about the local issues and how these communities are responding to domestic and family violence.

Domestic violence a growing scourge

On Friday 26 September 2014, Ms Bryce spoke with ABC News about the role of the taskforce and how it is essential for the community to contribute to an effective strategy to combat the growing problem of domestic and family violence.
