Agencies on track for White Ribbon Accreditation
Six more Queensland Government agencies are over half way through White Ribbon Australia’s workplace accreditation program, with 19 agencies already accredited.
The 12-month program equips workplaces to better recognise, prevent and respond to violence.
Participating agencies have engaged in a range of awareness raising and capability building activities, such as the Darkness to Daylight Challenge and domestic and family violence training.
The Queensland Government has committed to all departments being accredited workplaces by 2019.
Becoming a White Ribbon Workplace demonstrates the Queensland Government’s ongoing commitment to creating a Queensland free from domestic and family violence.
