Responding to the risk of suicide for people impacted by domestic and family violence

A Suicide Prevention Framework for working with people impacted by domestic and family violence (PDF) (the Framework) has been developed to support practitioners working with people impacted by domestic and family violence.

The Framework was developed in response to Recommendation 1 of the Domestic and Family Violence Death Review and Advisory Board 2016-17 Annual Report.

The Queensland Government is committed to improving service responses for people impacted by domestic and family violence, who may be at an increased risk of suicide.

The Framework is intended to guide practitioners working with people impacted by domestic and family violence in Queensland, to effectively support people who may be at risk of suicide.
