Children and Families Legal Assistance Forum

The Children and Families Legal Assistance Forum (CAFLAF) is a specialist forum established as a sub-committee of the Queensland Legal Assistance Forum (QLAF).

The aim of the forum is to encourage cooperation and collaboration between legal assistance service providers working with families and children and to promote good practice across legal assistance services in the delivery of legal and related services to families and children.

  • Advise the QLAF on issues relevant to provision of legal services to families and children.
  • Lead discussions around systemic change and advocacy between legal assistance service providers working with families and children.
