Key systems impacting adults with impaired capacity monitoring project
The Office of the Public Advocate has commenced work on a project to gather and report on data from key agencies that provide support and/or services to people with impaired decision-making capacity.
It is proposed that the project will be a partnership between our office, the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal, the Office of the Public Guardian and the Public Trustee. Other agencies that provide services, programs, facilities and other interventions to Queensland adults with impaired capacity will also be approached to participate in the project.
We plan to aggregate and analyse the data provided by participating agencies in order to identify and monitor system demand, trends and issues. This analysis will be released in an annual public report.
