Liquor regulation began in Queensland before 1860 with 4 licensing types. Today, the Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation issues over 23 different types of licences and permits.
As the liquor regulator, we are focused on supporting safe and responsible liquor-licensed environments that minimise alcohol-related harm, build community confidence and support industry development.
This page contains recent statistical information about licensed premises and liquor licensees in Queensland.
