Digital dispute resolution at your fingertips

Members of the public who are involved in a dispute can now apply for mediation assistance through the Queensland Dispute Resolution Branch’s online interactive form.

The Dispute Resolution Branch assists members of the public to settle disputes through mediation.

Dispute Resolution Branch Practice Manager, Ashley Eastall, said that mediation helped people to resolve their disputes without having to resort to a costly and time-consuming court process.

“Taking part in mediation can save time, legal fees and court costs for you and the community,” Mr Eastall said.

“Applying for mediation is now easier than ever, with the form available on the Dispute Resolution Branch’s website that can be filled out and submitted online.”

Members of the public who are involved in a dispute and wish to seek resolution through mediation can apply for assistance at www.qld.gov.au/applymediation.
