Justice Policy Partnership

The First Nations Justice Office supports and participates in the Justice Policy Partnership (JPP).

The JPP is a joined-up approach between the Australian, state and territory governments and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander representatives, under Priority Reform One of the National Agreement, with a focus on reducing adult and youth incarceration.

The Department of Justice and Attorney-General is the lead agency for Queensland on the Australian Government JPP.

The Deputy Director-General, Justice Policy and Reform is the Queensland Government representative for the JPP, and is supported by the First Nations Justice Officer.
