You do not need a bank verification form to apply for GCBF funding.
You must provide a recent bank statement. It must be no more than 6 months old.
The new portal checks your bank details against a bank validation service.
Sometimes the service cannot confirm your bank details. This does not always mean your details are wrong.
Your bank account may not validate if:
- the account is new or was recently changed
- the new details have not reached the validation service
- the account name is different from the name held by the bank
- the bank or validation service is not available
- the BSB, account number or account name has been entered incorrectly.
A failed validation can also happen if you entered the wrong details.
Check your:
- BSB
- account number
- account name.
You can continue your registration or application if your account does not validate.
If your application is successful, the CBFU team may contact you to check your bank details before payment.
