You cannot use grant funding for items that were:
- ordered
- purchased
- paid for with a deposit
- committed to under a signed agreement
before your application was approved.
Grant spending
Grant funding cannot be used for:
- grant writing fees
- grant management fees
- project management fees.
Grant funding cannot be used to:
- meet matched funding requirements
- pay a deposit for another grant
- secure sponsorship
- unlock another funding program
- pay a deposit to buy land or property
- pay a deposit on a loan to buy land or property.
You need written approval before you buy from an overseas supplier.
Where possible, you should buy from Australian suppliers.
If you want to buy from an overseas supplier, you must first provide:
- a supplier quote
- a reason why the item cannot be sourced in Australia.
If you buy from an overseas supplier without approval, you may have to repay the grant.
