Keeping Queenslanders safe at home during the COVID-19 pandemic
In May 2020, the Queensland Government launched a new awareness campaign to ensure critical public safety messaging was reached by those impacted by domestic and family violence during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The campaign aims to raise awareness of domestic and family violence, particularly non-physical forms of abuse, and the available support services, to ensure those experiencing or using violence know that support is available and to encourage bystanders to use safe intervention practices.
The statewide campaign is running across various channels, including radio, Spotify, search advertising, social media and digital platforms until the end of September 2020.
Everyone has a role to play in ending domestic and family violence. You can show your support by downloading and sharing the campaign resources available on the campaign website, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander resources and resources for those who speak a language other than English.
