Suicide prevention framework

A Suicide prevention framework for working with people impacted by domestic and family violence (the framework) was developed to support practitioners working with people impacted by domestic and family violence (DFV).

The framework was developed in response to recommendation 1 of the Domestic and Family Violence Death Review and Advisory Board 2016–17 annual report.

We are committed to improving service responses for people impacted by DFV who may be at an increased risk of suicide.

The framework is intended to guide Queensland practitioners supporting people impacted by DFV who may be at risk of suicide.
