End domestic and family violence

About

Based on the recommendations of the Special Taskforce on Domestic and Family Violence in Queensland, we are leading a 10-year reform program to put an end to domestic and family violence in partnership with the non-government sector, business and the Queensland community.

DFVP Strategy

The Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Strategy 2016-2026 is a vehicle to drive change across all sectors of the Queensland community. The First Action Plan 2015-2016 will establish the foundations for the Strategy for the next 10 years and create the framework for projects that will drive change beyond the life of the Strategy.

Our progress

We are progressing a range of initiatives, including establishing integrated service responses, to ensure victims and their families are safe and supported and to ensure perpetrators are held to account and supported to stop using violence.

DFV Prevention Council

The Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Council oversee the next phase of the Queensland Government's domestic and family violence reform agenda.
