Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month: Not Now, Not Ever 2019

The Queensland Government has reignited the Not Now, Not Ever awareness initiative to encourage community participation and raise awareness during Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month in May 2019.

We all have a role to play in changing the culture, attitudes and systems that underpin violence in our community to make Queensland a place that is free of domestic and family violence.

It is not too late to participate and there are many ways that you can take up the challenge to help put an end to domestic and family violence, and help build awareness.

You can upload short home-made videos of your initiatives to the website to develop an online canvas of all the wonderful work that Queensland clubs, schools, workplaces, neighbourhoods, and communities are doing to change the culture of violence in our community.

Visit qld.gov.au/notnownotever to find out more about the month, view videos and images of local initiatives, and access resources to promote the Not Now, Not Ever message.
