Queensland Government's workplace DFV response an awards finalist
The Queensland Government’s workplace response to domestic and family violence (DFV) has been recognised as a finalist in the 2018 Institute of Public Administration Australia Prime Minister’s Awards for Excellence in Public Sector Management.
These awards, which received 41 nominations nationally, celebrate the achievements of innovative public sector initiatives that make a difference, improve outcomes and services, and champion leadership.
Our workplace response is driving comprehensive workplace action to prevent domestic and family violence, support affected employees, and promote safe, respectful workplace cultures.
We’re proud of the steps we’re taking to create systemic change and social shifts in the workplace and at the broader community level, as well as making a positive impact on a large number of individuals affected.
