The events promoted in the Women's Safety and Violence Prevention community events calendar send a clear message that gendered violence will not be tolerated, and that our community will strive for promotion and protection of women’s rights, interests and wellbeing all year round.
Community groups are encouraged to register an event to be considered for inclusion in the calendar.
Domestic Violence Remembrance Day 2022 Ceremony

Gladstone Women's Health Centre and CCRDFV are hosting a Domestic Violence Remembrance Day ceremony at the Avenue of Flowers, Friend Park, Barney Point from 7.45am (coffee/tea with Cafe Casa) followed by the ceremony. This event is held annually to raise awareness of the impact of domestic and family violence to families and our community, and to honour those who have been impacted and/or lost their lives to domestic and family violence. This is an open community event.
