The events promoted in the Women's Safety and Violence Prevention community events calendar send a clear message that gendered violence will not be tolerated, and that our community will strive for promotion and protection of women’s rights, interests and wellbeing all year round.
Community groups are encouraged to register an event to be considered for inclusion in the calendar.

EDON Place Domestic and Family Violence Centre together with the Queensland Police Service, Bundaberg are coordinating the following event as part of Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month. This annual event is held each year during the month of May to raise community awareness of the social and personal impacts of Domestic and Family Violence and the support services available to those affected. The event is an opportunity for us to pay our respects by remembering those who have lost their lives as a result of Domestic and Family Violence over the past 12 months. By coming together, we send a clear message that Domestic and Family Violence is not acceptable within our community.
